Words cannot create for you a proper effigy

Describe your manner, the way you loved, or your personality.

Your intellect was vast but your manner never vain

Though times were sometimes tough never once did you complain.

None of us is perfect but you loved us with our flaws

If anybody needed help, you’d never even pause.

As a father, and a husband, and a brother, and a son,

You always were remarkable, you’ll never be outdone.

When your son Xander asked you, “Daddy why is the sky blue?”

“Giant rats,” you grinned, and he said, “Mommy is that true?”

You taught him how to question life and learn things on his own,

We hope he will be half the man that you are when he’s grown.

When Esther couldn’t sleep at night because of zombie fears,

You helped her barricade her room and make impromptu spears.

She’d always felt a misfit, out of place and sort of strange,

You showed her that it’s quite okay, to be somewhat deranged.

The family you left behind will miss you every day.

Your sheepish grin will linger, in our hearts you’ll always stay.

Though it may seem, that you have left for your eternal rest,

We know that you have simply gone, to man teh internets.

Victor Ryan Jasso, aged 25, shuffled off this mortal coil December 7th, 2008. He leaves behind his Mother, Ramona Sloan; his father, Victor Jasso; his step-mother, Arlene Jasso; his grandmothers, Espreranza Sloan, and Josephine Jasso; his grandfather, Raymond Jasso; his brothers, Alec and Nicky; his sister, Julliana; his children, Esther and Xander; his many aunts and uncles; and his wife, Alexandra.

He was a loving son and grandson, a playful brother, a supportive father, an adoring husband, a respected friend, and an omnipotent merciless god of teh internets. His absence has left a hole in the world that will not easily be filled.

Very beautiful words coming from a very beautiful person. Words cannot even express my sorrow for what you are going through. My heart goes out to you and your family. Please know that we are all here for you.

What a loving tribute to your loved one, you are in my prayers.

I wish you strength to endure the pain. My wonderful husband also passed recently. I'll miss him forever. My goal now is to live to make him proud of me.

Both of you have lost your soul mates. I am so sorry for the pain you must be feeling. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am very sorry for your loss. That is an absolutely beautiful poem. He was very lucky to have you as his wife.

Victor Ryan Jasso, just as I can admit that not only do I not know you or even of you I do feel blessed that for reasons unknown, today I happen to see the "Obituary," posting as sometimes I look to see if it's me not even to be funny. This Friday February 6th. marks my 7 year anniversary since I acquired the "Iatrogenic neuromuscular toxic disease of the CNS called Central Pontine Myelinolysis." Back when I got it they say within 30 days of diagnosis, 50 to 75% of us leave to visit God and those waiting on us.

Victor, I hope and pray your trip to heaven is a good one as I'm sure everyone there will get a very good person to assist in making it even a better lace which is hard to imagine. When my call comes, I hope to remember your name so Franky, "My boston terrier neuro service companion and I, will find you because I feel you will be a good friend to have." G-d Bless...

I can't believe all of this happened to my old friend. Vic and I worked at the mortgage company together in Irvine for a couple years. Sat near each other. Talked about many things in life.

Kept in touch after we both left the company via his docfox e-mail, and we hadn't shared a word in probably just over a year.

An old co-worker of ours reached out to me last night to let me know about this.

Vic was unique. His stories, his philosophies in life...all his.

Vic was Vic. My friend in black; who wore no other colors to work. Black on black. That was Vic.

His desk. The toys. His style.

We had a common bond at the mortgage company and I was there when he walked the final mile out of that place. He went out in classic style from there--- just as we would expect. All over "Jingle Bells."

He was the man. I'm in shock over his death.

Vic always had a few tricks up his sleeve, but he never showed his deck.

I've got stories.... he was a great friend.

i am so so sorry for ure loss. im sure he knew u all loved him.......god bless u all, julie k

'm sure you remember Axy of posting at his "Internet Hangouts". Well I was a friend of his at one of them, and only found about this today. He was one of the funniest, most genuine people ever and while most people didn't really try to understand his zany nature, I'm glad I did. All he did was try to have fun, and he brought smiles to a lot of people's faces via the internetz.

He was a great guy and I'm sure he left an impression on anyone and everyone he has ever met. I know I shall never forget him.
