Words cannot create for you a proper effigy
Describe your manner, the way you loved, or your personality.
Your intellect was vast but your manner never vain
Though times were sometimes tough never once did you complain.
None of us is perfect but you loved us with our flaws
If anybody needed help, you’d never even pause.
As a father, and a husband, and a brother, and a son,
You always were remarkable, you’ll never be outdone.
When your son Xander asked you, “Daddy why is the sky blue?”
“Giant rats,” you grinned, and he said, “Mommy is that true?”
You taught him how to question life and learn things on his own,
We hope he will be half the man that you are when he’s grown.
When Esther couldn’t sleep at night because of zombie fears,
You helped her barricade her room and make impromptu spears.
She’d always felt a misfit, out of place and sort of strange,
You showed her that it’s quite okay, to be somewhat deranged.
The family you left behind will miss you every day.
Your sheepish grin will linger, in our hearts you’ll always stay.
Though it may seem, that you have left for your eternal rest,
We know that you have simply gone, to man teh internets.
Victor Ryan Jasso, aged 25, shuffled off this mortal coil December 7th, 2008. He leaves behind his Mother, Ramona Sloan; his father, Victor Jasso; his step-mother, Arlene Jasso; his grandmothers, Espreranza Sloan, and Josephine Jasso; his grandfather, Raymond Jasso; his brothers, Alec and Nicky; his sister, Julliana; his children, Esther and Xander; his many aunts and uncles; and his wife, Alexandra.
He was a loving son and grandson, a playful brother, a supportive father, an adoring husband, a respected friend, and an omnipotent merciless god of teh internets. His absence has left a hole in the world that will not easily be filled.
